Dr. Andrew C. Reed
Dr. Andrew C. Reed is an Assistant Professor at Brigham Young University. He teachers world religions and Latter-day Saint history courses in the Church History Department. He studied Russian and European history at Arizona State University and holds master's degrees from the University of Oxford and from the Woolf Institute at the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Religious Outreach Council at Brigham Young University and a cofounder of the Jewish and Latter-day Saint Academic Dialogue. He is currently working on a monograph on the well-known Russian orientalist and hebraist Daniil Avraamovich Khvol'son and religious tolerance in nineteenth-century Russia. One of the major themes within his work is the development and history of relations between Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
